This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (858) 351-4177. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, paradisegp.com.

I was in the area today and decided to try this restaurant; honestly, I was impressed by the flavor and quality of the food, as well as the service. Congratulations. I didn't take photos of the other dishes, but everything was delicious.

LATE REVIEW. My family and I were always curious as to how Din Tai Fung's competition tastes like. Compared to the famous DTF, the wait here was not bad on a Wednesday night. We were seated right away even though the restaurant was super busy. Good sign, business in booming for sure. We got too excited with how unique the menu is and ended up ordering way too much food. The portions of the appetizers, vegetables and rice (not pictured) were bigger in size. The XLB's that we ordered were all so good! The restaurant is pretty clean and spacious. It was also easy to maintain the conversation as it was not loud at all inside. All the servers and food runners were very attentive to our needs.

Located where Din Tai Fung used to be in the Americana. Paid parking in the structure, on the street and the lot east across the street. Quite the similar menu to Din Tai Fung. The flavors and textures of everything was pretty good. They werenβt too busy, so it was fairly quiet during the week. Iβd like to try some other things next time around. Their original XLB is very good. I shouldβve ordered the pork chop with fried rice rather than by itself. Dan Dan noodles usually has more texture than broth, but the flavor was nice and the noodles were perfect.

I went there on the eve of Motherβs Day so it was a very busy night. The servers were not as attentive but very polite. Food is great, priced reasonably. Satisfied belly!

amazing quality, flavor and authentic taste. the 8-dumpling sampler is cool, but itβd recommend going timeless classic with the traditional pork soup dumplings. amazing veggie and vegan options. clean food , clean broth, and amazing service. our server marcus was incredibly friendly and the real deal.
